Belinda continues her sleep research with a “touchy” question

    Hello. It’s Belinda.

I want to thank everyone for your help so far with my secret project.

I wrote about it in last week’s blog. Which is called “Where Do You Sleep?”

Today is “part two” of my sleep research. I have a new question and it’s a bit sensitive.

I’ll save it for the end.

By the way. Some of us have to nap with one eye open.

    “If you know you know.”

Anyway I got a lot of great feedback from everyone for my sleep project.

For example, my friend Poppy likes to sleep “behind the sofa and under the bookcase in my room.”

But here’s the best part. Poppy also snoozes under the table by the front door to smell the outside air coming under the door.

Did you know you could do that? I didn’t.

    It’s added to my list.

My friend Hawkbit has a super-smart “hack” too. He sleeps in the hallway where his roommates walk back and forth all day. Not only is that close to his food and water, but his roommates give him lots of pats.

When he gets cold he moves to the kitchen by a small reptile heater.

Hawkbit is using some good “strategy” in my opinion. I added it to my notes.

Last but not least is my friend SnowBella from chilly Wisconsin.

SnowBella’s bed is nice and cozy, with lots of padding and pillows.

She looks so relaxed and “comfy.”

Now it’s time for my sensitive question.

Some rabbits have “free roam” of their house. Even at night.

I’m allowed to hang out on the bottom level, or in the kitchen, living room and dining room.

Little Fang and the English stay in big pens.

Poor Little Fang has a personal problem, so she has to be near her pee pads. She’s not allowed to run around on carpet.

    It’s not her fault.

The English is allowed to run loose on the bedroom level. And when he’s roaming around I have to stay behind a locked door.

There was an incident involving the two of us a while back. In a hallway.

I should probably delete that part.

Anyway, here’s my question. I hope it doesn’t offend anyone.

At night, are you allowed to roam around and sleep wherever you want?

Or do you have to stay in a room, a pen or other “house?”

If you can, let me know in the comments or email me at Belinda@smallpetselect.com.

And send this to your rabbit friends. I need a lot of “data.”

Thanks as always for your support.

    Sincerely,

    Belinda
