Something I always loved doing for my hamster was decorating her cage. I was addicted to buying her new toys and things to do and my most favourite was a woodland theme style cage. Not only are woodland theme cages aesthetically pleasing but also very practical. Your hamster can safely gnaw on almost everything in the cage.

This Cork Tunnel is a great addition to your hamsters enclosure. It provides a safe space for your hamster to hide and play. It’s also 100% natural. As there are different sizes, it’s important to make sure you get the right size to make sure your hamster fits through the tunnel and doesn’t get stuck!

This Combo pack is a great way of getting you started out if you’re needing all new toys for your new woodland theme cage.
Bendy Bridge
A must have among the hamster community, is a Bendy Bridge. They’re so versatile! They can be used as a tunnel, a bridge, ladder or a cosy hideout! Safe for gnawing and nibbling. A great Accessory for a woodland theme, or any themed enclosure.
Trixie Small Animal Grass Nest
Providing different materials for your hamster can be useful for breaking boredom, this Grass nest is a really good addition to the cage and gives them a different sensation of something new to chew on!
Cosy Coconut Hideout
My hamster absolutely loved her coconut when she was alive. She looked so cosy and safe in there, and because its natural I’ve added it to this list. This Coconut is safe for chewing and is extra cosy with some ripped up toilet tissue.
Trixie Wooden Exercise Wheel
This Trixie wooden wheel will look great with your woodland theme cage. I had this wheel for my hamster and it’s a good quality wheel, also very silent, which is a great added bonus! They come in various sizes And blend in well with a natural theme.
Beco Eco Friendly Bowl
This Beco bowl blends into the rest of the natural theme going on in the cage. It’s made from bamboo and rice, it’s also dishwasher safe. This bowl is great for hamsters because is very shallow, meaning they won’t have to do much bending when eating or drinking.
Wooden Bottle Stand
A must have accessory especially if you have a bar-less cage. This Bottle stand will look so good amongst all the other woodland theme accessories in the cage. It also has an adjustable stand which is handy to have, as this means it’s suitable for Syrian and dwarf hamsters.
Wooden Hamster House
This Wooden hamster house is sooo cute and looks super cosy. I had something similar for my hamster ( pic posted below) and she loved it.
Gnawing Toys
These Loofa leaves are aesthetically pleasing and also a great boredom breaker for your hamster. Having various materials for your hamster to gnaw on makes it fun and stimulates their brain. I love autumn colours and think they look beautiful in this style of cage.
Hamster Ladder
Similar to the bendy bridge is this Hamster ladder . It’s much longer than the bendy bridge and will be a great way for your hamster to travel to different levels in their cage! Especially if you have a few Perches and platforms. The hook makes it safe to attach to a barred cage. it can also be used as a room partition.
The Cage!
To finish off the perfect woodland theme would be the cage itself! An Ikea Detolf would be a Hamsters dream, as you can fit so much in. This cage is recommended amongst so many people within the hamster community for its floor space. You’d need to make a lid but that can be easily done with the right equipment and watching various YouTube videos that demonstrate how to do it.
