It all started with the roommate blasting music in “the wee hours”

Hello. It’s Belinda.

It’s the middle of the night and I just woke up from an odd dream.

I want to write it down so I don’t forget it.

First I need to say this is all my roommate’s fault.

Because right around midnight she started blasting music.

Come on. It’s a work night.

She played one song over and over and that’s what “seeped” into my dream.

But it was different in my sleep.

I’ll just call it “Belinda’s Version.”

My name is Bunny.

Earn my loops by writing blogs for the money.

Professional blogs. They’re not funny.

It’s “easy” though as per somebody.

Hmm.

I call him The English.

He fancies himself as a “linguist.”

But he cannot write. He just wings it.

Says “I want your job. That’s my one wish.”

Hmm.

So he’s scratching at the front door.

Sure that I’ll invite him inside.

Yelling my name.

Then just to shut him up, I ran up the steps

and went out.

He said, “What do I have to do

to be a spokesrabbit too?”

Ha! He thinks he’s such an expert on hay.

Yet sleeps in every day so

he can’t know the life of a spokesbun

anyway.

Bah! Seems to think my job’s no work and all play.

He’s thicker than a snacker and

does not know the life of a spokesbun

anyway.

Can he even use a comma?

That’s where the dream ended.

And the answer is no. The English cannot use commas correctly.

By the way I don’t want to dream about him. It’s bad enough he annoys me when I’m awake.

Well that’s enough from me at 2 a.m.

I hope you are having a good weekend.

Sincerely,

Belinda
