Hay? Toys? Treats? Santa (and Belinda) need to know what’s on your list.

    Hello. It’s Belinda.

OK this is a quick blog today.

I always say that and “yammer on” for ages but not today.

    That’s because I have a big assignment.

It’s a “Santa list” project. The team sprung it on me yesterday during the weekly call.

Usually I nod off while they go over the numbers. Not my thing.

I was a few minutes into a dream about a jack-o’-lantern in the moon when I heard it.

    “Hey Belinda.”

    Oh no.

    My head jerked up.

“I have an urgent assignment for you.”

    That was the big boss.

    Everyone else was quiet.

    I didn’t blink.

“Ask your friends what they want to find under the tree this year.”

More silence. Then the sound of papers being shuffled.

“Let us know by end of day Monday.”

Then they all went back to talking about “Q4” and “YTD” and such.

    None of my business.

The boss never surprises me during team calls. Obviously this is a “code red” assignment.

So that’s why this blog is so short. I need to research and put all the “data” into a spreadsheet.

    Can you help?

All you need to do is tell me something you want from Santa Claus.

It can be a treat. Or a toy. Or maybe some sort of “gizmo.”

Let me know in the comments or email me at Belinda@smallpetselect.com.

I’ll include it in my report to the big boss.

    Thanks in advance.

By the way. In case you missed my blog last week, I wrote about some “spies” who helped me with a little “secret mission.”

Also I want to thank everyone who has been emailing me about you-know-what.

    The mission.

    OK that’s all for today.

I hope you are having a good November so far.

    Sincerely,

    Belinda
