Chapter 126 – Grateful
Dad was working at this desk when he felt a tug on his pant leg. He looked down. It was Dino.
“Oh, hi little guy. How are you doing?” he asked.
The fluffy bunny stood up on his back feet and looked at Dad.
Dad asked, “You want a hug?” Like Enzo, Dino liked to be held. Dad reached down and picked up Dino. Dino climbed up Dad’s arm and put his front paws and chin on Dad’s shoulder.
Dad cooed, “Awww” as he stroked Dino’s head and ears. Dad put his ear against Dino and heard him purring softly. Dino thought, “Dad, I just want to tank you for giving me a good home. I happy here.”
Dad’s heart melted. He said softly, “You’re such a sweetheart. I’m glad Merlot approved. Now you’re a permanent member of the House of Buns.” He looked up and said, “Thanks, Enzo!”
