    Hello. It’s Belinda.

Some roommates get “grumpy” when it’s hot.

I don’t mean anyone in particular. But I do have some advice today for grumpy humans.

If your rabbit is going about their normal activities, that does not mean they’re being “naughty.”

So if you are telling your rabbits to behave a lot lately or calling  them “ornery,” I hope you will  study the following.

    It’s a little “Rabbit Behavior 101.”

I used photos to make it easy.

    Napping by the AC vent.

If you see your rabbit stretched out like this they are not sleeping.

    They are thinking.

Just keep walking along. No need to say hi or pluck fur.

I’m not “playing on the stairs.”

Rabbits are allowed to go to the bedroom level.

You don’t have to scold me for it.

    Belinda asleep in the loo.

If you see your rabbit sleeping in the litter box don’t panic.

it’s Ok to relax in the “loo.”

For one thing, it’s efficient. Think about it.

If you think this is a “close up” of hay you are 100% correct.

Sometimes we have a “hankering” for some fresh hay.

You cannot blame a rabbit for helping themselves to a snack.

We don’t want to bother you. We know roommates have lives of their own.

    “Where are you going, Belinda?”

Sorry but I can’t chat right now.

When rabbits are running behind the furniture just let them.

    Don’t look under the sofa.

There are no rabbits under the furniture.

You can go back to your chores or your phone calls. The rabbits are probably playing quietly in their room.

Did you find fur on your bed?

I wonder how that got there.

Don’t assume your rabbits are “exploring” the bedroom. Especially if that’s against the rules.

Fur can blow in the window. Or come through the vents.

Also if you find holes in the pillowcase I didn’t chew it.

    Uh oh.

Looks like it’s time to “wrap up” this blog.

    I hope you liked it.

PS: If you have a good “before and after grooming” photo, send it to belinda@smallpetselect.com. I like to see how everyone’s doing with their molts.

Or you can just email me to say hi.

    Sincerely,

    Belinda
